About NWBP
Northwest Black Pioneers (NWBP) was founded to provide the Greater Seattle Community with Educational Programs and the opportunity for Black College Tours. We are dedicated to promoting the rich history and contributions of Black pioneers in the Pacific Northwest. Our organization strives to create a platform for the celebration of BIPOC excellence and the advancement of educational opportunities for ALL youth in the region.
NWBP believes in the power of education and the potential of every individual to make a positive impact. We are committed to fostering a community where BIPOC youth can embrace their heritage, define their future, and become the leaders who will shape a more inclusive and equitable society.
Our Mission
At NWBP, our mission is to inspire and empower BIPOC youth through educational programs and exposure to historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). We aim to provide the necessary resources and support to help Black students thrive academically and personally.
Our Vision
Our vision at NWBP is to create a future where every BIPOC youth in the Greater Seattle Community has access to quality education, feels a strong sense of belonging, and is equipped with the tools to become leaders and trailblazers in their respective fields.
